Web Design, Web Development, Video Direction

challenge

The COVID pandemic put a halt to many in-person meetings and trade shows, and New Agenda needed a better way to present graphics and garments to their customers. I collaborated with the Creative Director to design and develop an ADA-compliant, WordPress, website that allows New Agenda Sales Representatives to better communicate and sell to their customers. People can now shop customized collections and garments with the ability to favorite and make notes on each item, then easily share their favorites list with their respective Sales Rep to finish their order.

Pop culture fanatics and retro gaming nerds at heart, Chris and Melissa Mullen received an opportunity to open the store of their dreams in 2016, Flashback Gear. Looking to provide a family friendly store where everyone can find an iconic comic, movie, anime, or television related t-shirt or gift, they needed help bringing their brand to fruition. Starting with a wordmark logotype that really embodied the new brand, we moved onto all the essential marketing materials such as business cards, newspaper ads, web graphics, custom wall decals, subscription boxes, and apparel to really bring it all together.

Perrin wanted to improve their communication with their 350 employees spanning across two shifts. Working in a manufacturing environment, many employees at Perrin did not have an email address but still needed a reliable way to receive important company news and alerts. After sending a quick survey to all employees, I used their feedback to create a mobile-friendly, Employee Portal where users now have access to view all company-wide emails and initiatives, company policies & benefit documents, upcoming events or holidays, company event photos, customer shout-outs, employee’s birthdays & work anniversaries, and more.

Nick and Jordan met in 2013 while serving in the United States Marine Corps. Over the years they stayed in close contact with each other, and in 2018 they realized they had a strong desire to share their background and help managers become better leaders. In 2019, they decided to start a leadership and consulting company called Diverse Interactions. I created a pictorial logotype, business cards and custom e-mail blast, while pairing it with a simple WordPress website.

I enjoy giving back to my community, and in 2018 I started volunteering as Online Coordinator on the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for my oldest son’s school, Walker Charter Academy. I design a handful of black and white flyers each year to help support the PTO events., and in 2019, I set them up with a simple WordPress website that highlights ways to support Walker Charter Academy, why the PTO exists, school events, school events, teacher faculty listing and more.

Grand Circus – Front-End Coding Bootcamp Final Project

WHAT I DID
Web Development / Web design / Graphic design

challenge

Sometimes a template-based website just doesn’t cut it. WeatherBrite GR was developed as a custom project by Grand Circus students Jessica, Humberto, and Will as a final project in their Front-End Web Development Bootcamp. Using the OpenWeather and Event Brite API, we display the current and forecasted weather while recommending upcoming events and attractions in GR to help plan your day.

Using well-commented HTML, jQuery, and AngularJS coding language as the bones of the website, we created 4 unique page layouts. We were very meticulous with our attention to detail and applied CSS to make the website fully responsive to any personal device. To bring the website app together, we designed a custom logo and business cards to display alongside our project at Grand Circus’ Demo Day 2019.
